Evening flying at the NW Strut of the LAA on Wed 9th May
All those interested,
We, the SCRCS, have once more been invited by the North Western Strut of the Light Aircraft Association to demonstrate our models at one of their social evening events.
We have been for about the last four or five years now and it is a pretty good relaxed evening. There are usually about 6 to 8 of our members who attend, also 3 or 5 members from other local club(s).
The membership of the strut is fairly small, and not at all intimidating. If you have a buddy system, then one or two are usually interested to "have a go".
They will as usual be putting on a BBQ in aid of the NW Ambulance.
The event is Wednesday 9th May.
I will be getting there about mid afternoon to make sure part of the fullsize strip is mown short.
We will be able to fly until dark.
Hoping of course for good weather.
